What do the neighbors see

Anyone driving by on Bonarden will see what I saw one lazy afternoon.

The tomatoes are going crazy and supplying the foodbank with food, and the sunflowers are there to remind us to look up and notice beauty.

America's Favorite

Yes, the tomato is America's favorite vegetable.

And they are growing all over the garden.

Bounty

It is with warm pleasure that we grow food to share.  We meet, we plan, we dig in , and we harvest.  The bounty is driven by many of us to TCAA to be enjoyed the the community they support.

The garden is literally sprinkled with red dots.  Those would be tomatoes.  These were dropped off at TCAA.

Tip- planting tomatos

Remove the bottom few leaves and plant the earth ball deeper into the ground past those points where leaves were removed.  .

 This will promote better root growth.
