March

In March we take out the old and start the new.  It was one of the work days we have.  The bulk of the gardeners come out along with Aprende NJHS students.  This time we added gravel to our paths.  Working as a group enables us to get a lot done.

That is what we do on work days at the garden.

 

 

Getting ready for Spring

All kinds of awesome things are happening at FIGG.  We are growing from scratch, if I may use that term.  Yes, we are planting from seed.  After much planning and scheduling, we gather at our haven and get to work.  Check out the new green houses we are using this year.  Which reminds this blog writer that watering needs to be done daily and today is my day.

Work day

The garden was hopping with activity from Aprende NJHS students, garden members, and children.

Much work was done to the North area, Food bank beds, and some of the private beds.
