Harvesting Food Bank Plots

Three broccoli heads grew and grew and delighted the gardeners at harvesting time.  They were delivered promptly to TCA just in time for Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving

At this time of year we are especially thankful.  FIGG just passed its ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! We could never have gotten this far in such a short amount of time without very generous supporters. FIGG gardeners want to express a huge thank you to our terrific supporters:  Team Depot from Home Depot, Hohokam RC&D, Hunter Contracting, LVA Urban Design Studio, Pavestone, and Dean Fencing.

            In the days ahead we plan to give back to our community through our Kid’s Growing Place educational program and by continuing our contributions of fresh organic food to Tempe Community Action Agency’s food pantry.
